Strategy # 5
Bet on the 7
Basic Gist: Wait five non 7 rolls and place a bet on the one roll bet for the 7.
- Let's put this into perspective: Let's say you're playing 16 hours, $5 basic bet, at a rate of 30 Come Out rolls per hour. Your average loss from betting on the Pass Line is $33.84, compared to $32.64 from betting Don't Pass instead. That's an extra 7.5¢ an hour.
- For the pass line bet: There are 8 ways of winning on the come out roll.not 2 ways (8 out of 36 to be exact) and 4 ways of losing. Not 3 ways (4 out of 36 to be exact) I bet both the pass and the don't, not at the same time, but I bet for them to repeat a win, win 2 in a row. The average times per hour per bet to repeat a win is 7 times.
Over the course of an hour, say 35 line bets, a flat pass bettor needs to win 18 or more of 35 to win. The pass+odds bettor needs to win fewer than 18 of 35 to come out ahead due to the payout ratios on the odds bets. With odds bets, you still need to get lucky to win, but not by as much as if you're just flat betting the line.
Max Loss – Huge
The method basically entails having about $200-400 in chips on your tray, so that you can once again chase any losses up at least 6 rolls if necessary.
My old friend would stand at the table waiting for a series of winning rolls to come, meaning that as long as someone was rolling numbers and had not rolled a seven in a while. He said that in most cases, letting four to five numbers roll without a seven coming up would be his sign to move.
He would then throw $5 out and say '$5 on the 7'. If the 7 came up, he would take his $20 winnings and his bet and sit until it came around again. If the 7 didn't come up, he would throw $10, then $20, then $40 then $100, then $200 until he topped out or a seven came up.
I stood next to him six different times and watched him make hundreds of dollars betting this way and I am glad to be giving this to you along with my method. If you are one of the few that my field method doesn't work that well for, then this might be the one for you.
It takes a little longer to gain winnings on, in my opinion and you have to make sure that your bets are being put on the seven, but it can really make some money with much less risk than tossing money on the pass line.
His only word of caution to me will be my only words of caution to you. Don't expect to stand here for 6 hours and win all the money you ever wanted.
The law of averages will catch up to you sooner than later. So, treat this as a gambling thing. When your luck is good, it's good and when it's not, leave!

You can make the craps house edge even lower by taking odds behind any of these bets. Odds don’t have a house advantage, making them the best wager in the casino.
